January:Stories Behind 365

I have been inspired by the Blueprints Album inspirations being offered by Audacious Designs and Paislee Press. I am looking for something simple and easily accessible. I get overwhelmed when I think of catching up on the past so I am going to try to capture moments closer to today. My project 365 seems like the perfect resource so I have turned to January. Hopefully, I can at least get one 20 page album done.
More brainstorming:
I have chosen to use the chronological order for my album since that is how my 365 is laid out and I am all about keeping things simple. =).
So now to get into Liz's tips on album design. I am using her off the presses template set one and it offers two page spreads. I want to do an eclectic mix of layouts but agree that the 2 page spreads should be coordinating. I also like the idea of treating each page as a mini album dedicated to one or two days of my p365. I would also like to combine several days on one page if the subjects compliments one another. For, instance in January I captured several toy images and so those can go on one two page spread. I should try to notice if there are themes to my photos that can be grouped. I like that idea and it can make the process faster. Oh, how nice this post by Audrey is perfect for my pre-k album I have collected pieces for this past year. I will save that for future reference. So I am finishing up going over all the blueprint posts I missed. I am glad I caught up and I am thrilled that Liz pointed out that we can use photos to fill out our stories plus make a complimenting page to layouts in an album. What a solution!!
Now I am ready to start my first album project. Wish me luck and mojo while I work on my January 2010 album.
