Excitement!!

I am taking an online sewing class!! It starts August 10, 2010!!!

I would say I am pretty green to sewing.

My Mom gave me a sewing machine a few years ago and I cant even get it going. Several times I have pulled it out, watched a few You Tube videos and spent several hours just trying to accomplish threading it and making a straight stitch. I am honestly scared of the whole concept by now. But Mr. Potts has committed to helping me figure the dern thing out. I am also taking a hands on class at Joann's so that should help. Plus I am signed up for this super cool beginner's sewing class featured at the freckled nest blog. I have up to a year to complete the projects and I am super excited that I feel like adopting and mastering this new craft is within my grasp!! I am looking forward to sharing my journey on my blog.
