First day of the fall semester........
All the kiddos are in their classes!
We woke up bright and early.
Mr. Potts supervised the getting dressed aspect while I made pancakes, yogurt and strawberries.
We took our first walk to school lugging a few pounds of school supplies.
It was a bit hectic but I learned how the first day goes from last year so we kept our cool.Yeshua's class lined up first and I saw apprehension on his face.
I took him aside and asked if he needed to tell me something and he said
"I am scared. there is gonna be alot of people."
I reminded him that Ms. Prince had prepared him well as a student and that everyone was new and feeling nervous.
He lined up and looked a little worried.
I high-fived him as he walked by......Next we escorted Gideon to his class and he seemed to feel comfy right away.
He was able to draw on a table so he settled in...he loves to draw......
He did not look worried at all and I hope his entire day goes that well....
She did look a little nervous but mostly excited.
She sat with her classmates quickly and was happy her teacher gave her a name tag so everyone would know her name.
Many students in her class were crying and that seemed to have her a bit concerned.
I just hope the vibes were not contagious.
