I saw the teacher's assistant for Gideon's class today and I asked her how things were going. She said things were going well and Gideon as a sweet boy. I mentioned that Yeshua was hurt because Gideon had ran from him on the playground. She told me that yesterday the boys' classes lined up side by side and all of the kids on Gideon's side started telling Yeshua that he was in the wrong line. Everyone was confused for a moment until the Mrs. K told the TA that Gideon was a twin. They then had to explain to the class that Gideon was not in the wrong line but that Yeshua was his twim. Apparently Gideon was embarrassed by the whole fiasco. I am kinda feeling sad for my Yeshua lately.
First, Gideon runs from him on the playground.
Then Gideon told me that Yeshua made funny faces in the cafeteria and he was embarrassed.
I think he thinks people will think it is him making the funny faces.
And now this line incident.
I know Yeshua is proud to be Gideon's twin but Gideon is shying away from it so far this year.
I know they are exploring being apart and it will work itself out but it still makes my heart sigh.
