In No Particular Order I present To You...

my first complete album... Stories Behind 365: January Edition
I need to get this baby in a blurb book and sent to my house. I want to make some Spring pages to go with it so I am gonna hold out on the album order.

I have noticed I have less pages for the rest of the spring months considering I lost my memory card for half of February and was without a camera for most of May. Current goal is to expand the January edition to a Spring edition and work on summer photos in the mean time.

I am loving this finished album since it is the first time I have made an actual set of layouts meant to go together and I totally credit the Blueprint Classes provided for free by Audacious Designs and Paislee Press. The techniques helped me simplify my page making process and stay focused on completing the album. I also loved the tip on how to incorporate old layouts. Handy Handy!!!

OK, without further ado here are my January layouts,

For the love of toys......

In my book toys are essential to childhood. I love to choose the toys that my children will engage with on a daily basis. Just musts for me....

one) long-lasting
two) imagination sparking
three) enriching
* to note long-lasting does not apply to purely delightful moments of childhood that are fleeting yet big in the grand scheme of things.....
such as bubbles, paper dolls and mudpies.
that about sums it up i guess.
so when the new year rolled around I wanted to capture a few images that focused on our favorite playthings of the moment.
Oh sweet long Saturday of January when Molly was so busily entertained by the McCall's.
Legos capture my children's minds for what seems like hours some afternoons. I love to witness them thinking, imagining and producing.

The girls! From left to right Nelli, Carter and Lili! My grandmother sent Carter to Molly when she was a baby and its really her first real doll. I am happy she has found a spot among Molly's
sisterhood of girls. I love this picture! We truly had a delightful afternoon playing a game Gideon built for us. There were several holes we could roll the marble in while trying to knock over the most pins. Quite entertaining!!

January: 365 Life Behind The Photos

So, I just started this album in the past few days and I now have 5 layouts done and 1 in progress. Pretty cool considering I just caught up on the blueprint posts and brainstormed my approach this morning. So minor road bump here have 6 pages but have only covered maybe 5 days. I need to layout my plan a tad better so I meet my goals. I am going to revisit Audrey's post about planning since I would love to keep this month down to twenty pages. So let's see what I would like to do with the rest of my book..........................................................................................................................................................

Ok! I did a bunch of work on it and now I am ready for bed. Here is a image of what I have so far. Its just a rough draft for now. Maybe I will do 30 pages though.
